Based in Asheville, NC, Class VI is developing RIVIR, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) resource, for new venture definition and feasibility analysis. www.c6sw.com ESI Advisors is a partner in the firm and Mr. Dunn serves as an architect for both products and services.

Based in Asheville, NC, ACF delivers real-time customer services and messaging solutions wherever customers walk, wait, shop, dine, seek health care, or obtain government documents. ACF operated in the US, Mexico, Canada and Central America. www.acftechnologogies.com. Since early 2004, ESI Advisors has provide corporate and business development services and, Mr. Dunn has served as a VP for those roles.

Based in Watford, England, NETWIRQ Ltd provides premises-based consolidated broadband and hosted information solutions to European multi-tenant premises operators, their customers, and their suppliers. www.netwwirq.com ESI Advisors is a partner in the firm and Mr. Dunn serves as Director, Strategy.

Based in Asheville, NC, Mountain BizWorks, is a regional non-profit firm whose mission is to build economic opportunities through business development, entrepreneurial coaching, and debt capital. www.mountainbizworks.org  ESI Advisors provides coaching to entrepreneurs, development of other business development coaches, and particpates in evaluating applications for financing. 

Based in Winchester, England and Boston, MA, The Calyst Group is an international M&A firm serving clients in the UK, US, Germany and France. www.it-catalyst.com Mr. Dunn  was a co-foinder of the firm in 1995 and served as a Managing Partner until 2004. Mr. Dunn continues to serve the firm as a member of the US team and as an advisor to the remaining partners.

Based in Stamford, CT, SI is a management services company engaged by its clients  to develop competitive intelligence and identify and interpret strategic threats and opportunities. www.strategic-Insights.com. Mr. Dunn serves on its Board of Advisors. 

Based in Asheville, NC, Lab Escape is an early stage software company that provides visualization tools for business oprerations and  asset  portfolios.  www.labescape.com. Mr. Dunn is a pro-bono advisor to the CEO.

ESI provided strategic alliance development services for  NCR's  Retail and Financial Services businesses and its Data Management business unit. In a span of 2 years, ESI evaluated two dozen canidate alliance partners in five countries around the world utilizing a proprietary evaluation methodology and scoring system.

Based in NYC, CGIS operated as a business unit of Incepta Group Plc until those businesses were transacted. CGIS provided business, market and competitive intelligence services to US and UK clients. ESI  provided Mr. Dunn’s services as a Managing Director for business development and practice development for engagements involving data services or information technologies.

Based in Windsor England, Regent is an investment banking services firm that advises UK companies in the IT sector on mergers, acquisitions and corporate development with a focus on cross-border transactions. www.regents.com. Mr. Dunn served as Managing Director for client projects in the UK, US, France and Germany.

Based in Charleston, SC, NavSci is a growth stage company that develops RFID solutions for the container shipping industry. www.navsci.com. ESI Advisors was retained for business development services.

Based in Asheville, NC, CommunityCrossings provided web-based Collaboration Gateways that help organizations manage the routine communication and organizational tasks for virtual social networks and online communities. ESI Advisors was originally retained to guide the development of a next generation project. The mandate for ESI Advisors was changed to that of an M&A advisor. ESI Advisors served as the intermediary for a succesful acquisition of the Company in 2007. 

Based in Asheville, NC, eGlobal design provided eMarketing services to the hospitality, tourism and entertainment industries. www.eglobaldesigns.com. Mr. Dunn was an advisor to the owners and guided the divestiture of most of the client base to another firm.

Based in Dallas, TX, GDG is an independent provider of enterprise threat management and managed network security services. www.globaldataguard.com. ESI Advisors was engaged to find and develop corporate strategic partners.

Based in Boston, MA, XO Soft provided back up and recovery software for large data centers. ESI Advisors was retained to serve on an advisory panel for strategic positioning in advance of a potential aquisition by a major public corporation. That acquisition was subsequently consumated by the Company.

Based in Asheville, NC, Genesis was a technology company formed to provide tools for drug discovery to the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Dunn served as CEO for the first year of the company's operation. The Company ceased operation in the following year.

Based in Asheville, NC, MES was an early stage technology company developing a new class of gas-fired electricity generating turbines for the distributed energy market. ESI Advisors was retained to assist in development of strategic partnerships and equity financing.

Based in London England, IP-Infotainment was a UK-based company to provide in-room consolidated digital IP solutions to hotels, multi-tenant residential units, hospitals and campuses. ESI Advisors was retained as a business advisor for development of the business and marketing strategy and development of first round financing.
 

Based in NYC, SVIP is private equity firm focused on service businesses for technology, media and business services. www.svip.com. Mr. Dunn was part of a cadre of senior industry executives initating deals for consideration by SVIP.

Based in Asheville, NC CGN was an early stage company  developing a new model for delivering customized peer-peer networking solutions as media channels to sponsors of gathered communities. ESI Advisors assisted in the formation of the company and Mr. Dunn served as a partner in the firm. 

Located in Asheville, NC, UNCA is a liberal arts institution. www.unca.edu. In 2003, UNCA launched an initiative to develope research centers.  Mr. Dunn served as a business advisor to the University's Chief Research Officer and Director, National Enviormental Modeling and Analyse Center (NEMAC).

Based in Johnson City, TN, Orison is a development company for medical devices with a focus on breast cancer screening and diagnosis solutions. www.orison.com. ESI Advisors was engaged to find and develop strategic corporate partners and institutional funding sources.
